How the aggregator model works
Neither platform holds inventory. They index thousands of independent Korean online shops, standardize the browsing experience, and take a cut. The same dress often appears on both apps and on the seller's own site at slightly different prices, so cross-checking is worth the two minutes. Because the same seller often runs its own independent site, buying direct occasionally saves the platform margin and sometimes costs more, so a quick comparison is worthwhile.
Pricing and quality reality
Typical price points are 15,000-45,000 KRW for tops and 30,000-70,000 KRW for outerwear. Quality varies enormously between sellers because there is no platform standard. Read the review photos, which Korean shoppers post prolifically and which show the garment on real bodies rather than models. Photo review sections are the single most useful feature on these platforms and are worth translating in full before committing to anything above about 40,000 KRW.
The app-only wall
Product links from these apps often do not open in a desktop browser at all, or open a stripped page that cannot be added to a cart. Sharing a listing with a buying service usually requires the in-app share function that generates a web link, and even those sometimes expire. Preparation times are also longer than on major platforms, commonly three to seven business days, because most listed sellers order stock from wholesalers after a purchase comes in.
Free size and its consequences
A large share of listings sell a single free size rather than a size run. Sellers list flat measurements in centimeters, and those measurements are the only reliable data. If a listing has no measurements, skip it rather than guessing. Fabric composition is often stated only as a percentage list at the bottom of an image, which is worth translating for anything you expect to wear regularly.
