Sizing conventions
Korean jeans are sold by waist in inches, from about 25 to 34 for women and 28 to 38 for men. That number is the garment measurement, not a vanity size, so it corresponds to a smaller US size than you might expect. A Korean 27 is roughly a US 6 in women's denim.
Rise and leg shapes
High rise and wide leg dominate the current Korean market, with straight and balloon cuts common and skinny fits scarce. Inseams are cut for an average height around 160-165 cm for women and 173-175 cm for men, so taller buyers should check the total length measurement carefully.
What to measure before ordering
Take a pair of jeans that fit you, lay them flat and measure waist, hip, thigh, rise and inseam in centimeters. Then compare directly to the listing table. This is the single step that turns denim from a gamble into a reasonable purchase.
Weight and shipping
A pair of jeans weighs 500-800 g depending on denim weight. Three or four pairs is a comfortable 2-3 kg. Denim packs dense rather than bulky, so it does not trigger volumetric charges the way outerwear does.
