Palettes and the Korean color logic
Nine and ten-pan palettes at 20,000-38,000 KRW dominate, and they are built as complete looks rather than color assortments: two mattes, two shimmers, a glitter and a deepening shade. That is why a single Korean palette often replaces two US ones. Pigment loads are generally lighter, which suits gradient blending.
Glitter and topper formats
Pressed glitters and liquid glitter toppers are a full category in Korea, at 8,000-18,000 KRW. The particle sizes are finer than most US glitters and the adhesive bases are stronger, which is why fallout is lower. This is the sub-category most worth importing.
Liners and mascaras
Brush-tip liquid liners with very fine points are the Korean standard, and the market for waterproof, smudge-proof formulas is fiercely competitive because of humid summers. Expect 8,000-16,000 KRW. Mascara wands skew smaller than US ones and are designed for shorter, straighter lashes.
Weight and fragility
Palettes are the heaviest eye item at 90-160 g each and can crack if the box shifts. Ask for palettes to be wrapped individually and packed in the center of the box rather than against a wall.

Do Korean palettes crack in shipping?
It happens if they are packed loose. Individual wrapping and center placement in the box prevents nearly all of it.
Is Korean mascara good for long lashes?
The wands are sized for shorter lashes, so if you have long lashes you may find them fiddly. The formulas themselves are excellent.
Are liquid glitters restricted for air shipping?
