The common option patterns
Most dropdowns encode three things in order: variant name, size or capacity, and quantity or bundle count. A single option string might read as color, then size, then a count. Sellers also occasionally hide a shipping surcharge inside an option, particularly for bulky items, which appears only once the option is selected.
Additional-charge options
Options frequently carry a price adjustment shown in parentheses as a plus and a won figure. A base price of 15,000 KRW with an option marked plus 3,000 means that variant costs 18,000. Buyers who read only the headline price are surprised by the total. Multi-select option sets, where you choose a color and then separately a size, compound the risk since an error in either produces the wrong item.
The verification habit
Copy the exact option string, character for character, into your order notes or your message to a buying service. Do not describe the option in English. The literal Korean string is unambiguous and eliminates the interpretation step where errors happen. Including a screenshot of the selected option alongside the text string removes any remaining ambiguity and takes no additional effort.

Korean sellers treat option selection as final and exchanges from overseas are impractical. This is why copying the exact string matters.
Do sold-out options disappear?
Usually they remain listed marked as sold out, and selecting one blocks checkout. Some sellers leave stale options selectable.
Can I ask a seller to confirm the option?
