Snacks are worse by volume

Some warehouses will not depressurize bags because it damages the product, so plan on paying for the air or choosing box-packed snacks instead. A reasonable compromise is buying box-packed biscuits and candies rather than bagged snacks, which have a far better weight-to-volume profile.

Case quantities magnify the risk. Confirm the specific variety has no beef or pork content before ordering thirty units of it, because a restricted carton is a total loss rather than a partial one. Sauce sachets included with noodles also occasionally contain meat extract even when the noodle itself does not, which is worth checking on the ingredient panel. Buying two smaller cartons of different varieties also limits the damage if one turns out to be restricted.
