Korea's gaming market produces domestic peripherals, regional editions and team merchandise that never reach the US. Some of it is genuinely worth importing and some of it is a globally available product you can buy locally for less once shipping and duty are counted.
What is actually Korea-only
Esports team apparel and merchandise, domestic-brand keyboards and keycap sets, Korean-market limited editions of peripherals, and Korean-language game releases and collector editions. Team jerseys typically run 60,000 to 120,000 KRW and are the single most requested category, with limited runs tied to seasons and rosters. Team merchandise in particular is produced in seasonal runs tied to a roster, so a jersey with a specific player name becomes unobtainable within a year of them moving.
Keyboards and the keycap question
Korean keyboard enthusiasts produce and group-buy custom keycap sets and boards that are hard to obtain elsewhere. Korean layout keyboards include Hangul legends alongside Latin characters, which is a feature or a problem depending on your view. Physical layout is otherwise the standard ANSI or ISO you would expect, so it is a legend question, not a compatibility one.
Voltage, warranty and what breaks the case
Korea runs 220 volts. Most peripherals are USB powered and fine, but monitors, powered speakers and anything with a wall adapter need checking. Warranty is the bigger issue: domestic Korean warranties are generally serviced only in Korea, so an imported monitor with a fault is effectively unwarranted. That risk is why importing expensive electronics rarely makes sense.
Shipping considerations
Keyboards are heavy for their size, commonly 1 to 2.5 kg boxed, and are frequently packed in oversized cartons that inflate volumetric weight. Jerseys and apparel are light and ideal for consolidating alongside. Anything with a built-in battery, including some wireless peripherals, has stricter air shipping handling. A jersey and a mousepad together weigh under 700 g and cost almost nothing to add to an existing box, which makes apparel the sensible half of this category to import.

Are Korean game releases region locked?
PC releases are usually account-region bound rather than disc-locked, and console releases vary by platform. Check the specific platform's regional policy before buying a physical collector edition for playability.
Can I get a Korean-market monitor to work on US power?
Only with a proper transformer if it is not dual voltage, and the warranty problem remains. For monitors specifically, buying locally is almost always the better decision.
Do esports team stores ship internationally?
Some do at high rates, many do not. Ordering to a Korean address and consolidating with other items is usually both cheaper and the only option for the smaller teams.
