Korean bedding design has a large following abroad, but two things trip up overseas buyers: the bed sizes are different, and bedding is the bulkiest thing you can put in an air parcel. Both are manageable if you plan for them.
Size conversion
Korean bed sizes run Super Single at about 110 by 200 cm, Queen at 150 by 200 cm and King at 160 by 200 cm. A US Queen is 152 by 203 cm, so a Korean Queen fitted sheet is close but slightly short in length. A Korean King is narrower than a US King by roughly 33 cm, which is enough to matter.
What that means in practice
Duvet covers and flat sheets are forgiving because they drape. Fitted sheets are not, and a Korean fitted sheet on a US mattress often will not stay on, especially with the thicker mattresses common in the US. Buy covers and flat pieces, and buy fitted sheets locally.
Shipping bulk realistically
A cotton duvet cover set weighs 1.5-2.5 kg and compresses to a manageable size. A filled comforter is 2-4 kg and enormous even vacuum packed, often billing at 10 kg or more volumetric. Covers ship reasonably; filled bedding usually does not make financial sense.
Prices worth knowing
Korean cotton duvet cover sets run 60,000-180,000 KRW for a Queen, and the design selection, particularly in the muted minimalist style, has no equivalent at US price points.
