Korean foot sizing skews smaller, so large sizes sit unsold and trade at or below retail while the same size commands a premium stateside. That size gap is the most reliable edge. Korean women's sizing below US 6 shows the same pattern in reverse, with small sizes plentiful and cheap relative to what they command in the American market.
Categories where Korea is more expensive
Anything with strong Korean celebrity association, and hyped models with limited domestic allocation. A shoe worn by a major idol can trade 30-50% over US market on KREAM for months. Domestic raffle winners also flip quickly rather than holding, which compresses the post-release price spike into a shorter and shallower window than the US market sees. Domestic demand also concentrates on a narrower set of models than the US market does.
